About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Shipper picks, packs, and loads steel tube and pipe while following established procedures and quality standards. The role operates standard warehouse equipment to handle materials efficiently. This is a regular, full-time onsite position on the 3rd shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving ability to address warehouse challenges.
High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards.
Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Champion and enforce safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
Process and fulfill orders from customers and internal teams.
Pick, pack, and stage orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting any damages.
Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
Standardize and optimize shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
