About The Position

SRC Automotive, Inc. is a leader in the remanufacturing of engines used in the Automotive, Marine, Natural Gas & Oil and Power Systems industries. The Shipper performs day to day warehousing finished goods shipping or parts receiving operations. The Shipper is responsible for moving finished goods for production to inventory and then shipping those goods to customers. The Shipper is also responsible for scheduling outbound shipments with carriers. This is a 1st shift position working 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of previous warehousing experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, and stockkeeping preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift, cherry picker, or other warehousing equipment, or ability to be trained
• Ability to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.
• Attention to detail and diligent problem solver
• Able to frequently bend, stoop, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Computer literate and able to be trained on company software

Responsibilities

• Moves finished goods from production to finished goods inventory or transporters.
• Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, sees that transport companies are notified and available to ship product to meet customer requirements.
• Verifies that shipments meet the customer’s requirements in regards to delivery date, amount shipped, and shipping destination.
• Maintains accurate accounting of transactions and posts activity according to company shipping processes; reports discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• May assist in the pulling of parts from warehouse and delivery to production lines.
• Operates company forktrucks in a safe manner, performs daily inspections, and reports maintenance issues to maintenance or Warehouse Supervisor.
• Participates in cycle counting and inventory audits.
• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares quantities shown on packing slips to actual items received and original purchase order.
• Inspect parts for shipping damage or non-conformance and notifies Buyers of any discrepancy found for vendor/transporter reimbursement.
• Check new and core parts into the warehouse system and records history of transaction in the company inventory system.
• Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor as needed
