About The Position

The Shipper role is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing, packaging, and shipping of customer orders to meet operational and customer requirements. This position is part of the Cytiva Aseptic Filling Supply Chain Function, located in Burnaby BC, and is an on-site, one-year fixed-term contract role, reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

Requirements

• Post secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience in Operations, Logistics, with a minimum of 1 year experience in shipping/logistics, warehouse operations.
• Hands on experience with shipping and warehouse systems, including ERP transaction processing (e.g., inventory movements, shipping documentation).
• Experience packaging, palletizing, or crating domestic and/or international shipments, including familiarity with trade regulations and Incoterms.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operator certification and ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Experience following standard work instructions and participating in continuous improvement or Kaizen initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately and efficiently, including scheduling transportation and ensuring secure delivery.
• Manage inventory and shipment documentation, performing ERP transactions, generating outbound paperwork, and tracking shipments in transit.
• Support warehouse operations and continuous improvement, maintaining an organized work environment, collaborating across teams, and assisting with additional logistics activities as needed.
