This role is for a Shipper, specifically on the C Shift, which runs from 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturday through Tuesday. The position is located in Warehouse III. A Warehouse III associate can perform most responsibilities of a Warehouse I and II, and may be responsible for cycle counting inventory, operating powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) while moving materials, and may be assigned to shipping duties. Potential job titles include Cycle Counter, Lift User, Material Handler, and Shipping. This role requires the capability to safely and properly operate multiple pieces of specialized equipment in a controlled environment. Essential functions include being assigned to Picking, Cycle Counting, Material Handling, Shipping, or Receiving, or other areas as business needs require. This list is not all-inclusive and responsibilities may change. Specific tasks include performing daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts with high accuracy (greater than 98%), verifying item numbers, descriptions, lot numbers, serial numbers, and quantities, and communicating discrepancies. Associates will accurately receive, pick, put away, and relocate products using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS). With specialized training, they may safely operate PIVs. They will load, unload, move, and stack materials, and transport inventory. Pre-shift equipment inspections are required. Preparation and processing of outbound shipments include verifying picked orders, packing, labeling, and staging shipments, generating shipping documents, and loading trucks. Coordination with carriers and internal teams is necessary, and WMS, TMS, or shipping software will be used. Associates must notify VSM/VSS of any concerns regarding HR, Safety, and Security policies, work instructions, and quality system requirements. They must behave, speak, and treat others respectfully, supporting workflow, and participate in improvement project teams. Other duties may be assigned as job responsibilities evolve.
