About The Position

The Shipper-Receiver handles customer orders, inter-company transfers, finished goods, and incoming materials. The role includes loading trucks, managing inventory and shipment records, operating inventory equipment, and building product displays while following R.C. Bigelow safety and health rules. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and one year of related shipping and receiving experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; one year of related experience in shipping and receiving operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to learn computer-related work requirements.
Ability to operate a forklift and pass the required driving examination.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Pull and load LTL customer orders and inter-company transfers onto appropriate trucks.
Place finished goods production into inventory.
Pull and send out RPS and UPS orders using the small package manifest system.
Conduct daily cycle count inventories.
Accurately complete required forms and reports.
Place received materials in the correct locations and verify accuracy on the computer.
Build product displays.
Comply with R.C. Bigelow Safety and Health Rules.
Operate computer-related inventory equipment, including RF and keyboard equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
