About The Position
The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver position is an important role on the Silgan Dispensing team and is a great opportunity for those looking to advance their skills. Our plant help produce thousands of our dispensing products each day. So, it’s important to keep it running efficiently and continuously.
Requirements
- Knowledge of international shipping documentation
- Hands-on experience
- Detail oriented
- Min of High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Fedex International shipping experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in SAP

- Ability to work independently and be proactive.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and report data.
- Ability to prioritize work is essential.
Responsibilities
- Physically count parts/components to monitor and maintain inventory records
- Follow established material handling procedure across various inventory locations
- Communicate with commercial carriers and customers
- Operate forklift and/or hand truck to move pallets
- Enter data into SAP computer system in a timely and accurate manner
- Other duties as assigned
