About The Position

This posting is for an existing vacancy. You will drive warehouse efficiency and process improvement and collaborate with colleagues in all departments. As the Shipper/Receiver, you will play a key role in ensuring continued flow of business through the location. This is a full-time position, working a regular Monday to Friday schedule alongside a strong team of Sales Reps, Service Technicians, and Administrators. This is a Full-time Temporary position for 8 weeks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or general warehouse role.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Ability to learn new systems and databases.
  • Moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone, or on paper.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service to visitors or vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Clean criminal background check.
  • Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving of goods and mobility equipment using shipping software (Navision).
  • Creating shipping orders and labels.
  • Packing custom orders.
  • Pulling inventory from shelves.
  • Cross docking of orders from other locations.
  • Ensuring courier pick up.
  • Receiving goods from suppliers or vendors and verifying delivery accuracy and condition.
  • Maintaining inventory of mobility devices and equipment.
  • Acting as the gatekeeper for all inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse.
  • Ensuring proper storage and packing of inventory as it enters or exits the dock.
  • Using pump trucks and flatbeds to store, organize, and manage inventory.
  • Tagging, pricing, storing, and organizing all mobility devices, parts, and tools within the warehouse.
  • Assisting to build or clean mobility devices such as wheelchairs, elevating equipment, and power scooters.
  • Communicating with internal and external teams to ensure inventory and shipment accuracy and coordination of shipping and receiving.
