Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is currently seeking a Shipper/Reciever I to join our team in Youngsville, North Carolina. The Shipper/Receiver I provides manufacturing expertise and support including but not limited to, sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using SAP, warehouse management system.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (for example Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Show a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all the position's functions.
  • Ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the shipping, or receiving, process and perform quality checks as instructed.
  • Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material.
  • Use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperwork.
  • Interface with the shipping office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery.
  • Report irregularities, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Become certified in operation of forklifts to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.
