About The Position
As a Shipper/Receiver, you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation. Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines.
- Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedly.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
- Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
- Available to work overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
- Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
- Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
- Understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures.
- Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
