About The Position
The shipper/receiver will be responsible for pulling and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring product security and safety. This role involves various warehouse duties and requires adherence to safety rules and procedures. The position is shift-based with overtime opportunities and offers a safe, team-oriented work environment with opportunities for learning and growth.
Requirements
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
- Shows initiative
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities
- Pulling and packing orders
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Ensuring product is secure and safe
- Knowing and following plant safety rules and wearing proper PPE
- Knowing and following yard and dock loading/unloading safety rules and procedures
- Locating, accurately counting, and packaging products for shipment
- Inspecting products and packaging for damage
- Packaging, palletizing, and bundling product for shipment using appropriate methods
- Proficiently using material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banders
- Cycle counting product
- Accurately receiving and recording inbound freight shipments
- Correctly identifying and putting away purchased/manufactured fittings
- Being aware of overstock areas
- Loading customer will calls and other docked van freight
- Unloading product from flatbeds and docked van freight
- Correctly tying down loaded flat racks
- Ensuring packing accuracy meets or exceeds acceptable levels
- Performing general warehouse duties and cleanup
- Performing all other assigned duties
