About The Position
Grande Prairie Volkswagen is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their team. This role is responsible for accurately picking parts and preparing them for shipping or delivery, as well as accurately receiving and putting away inventory and performing perpetual inventory counts. Grande Prairie Volkswagen is part of the AutoCanada dealership network, a large Canadian-owned automotive dealer group known for its innovation and commitment to team members and customers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years relevant experience would be an asset
- Forklift experience would be an asset
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable using computerized receiving and shipping software
- Knowledge of health and safe procedures, standards, and regulations
Responsibilities
- Receive parts and put away stock
- Ship domestically and occasionally internationally (USA)
- Pick returns and prepare for shipment
- Warehouse housekeeping
- Other duties as required
