About The Position

Larry H. Miller Jeep is seeking a Shipping and Receiving/Warehouse Clerk to join their team. Previous dealership experience is helpful. The role of a Shipping/Receiving Clerk is to act as the principle person in charge of the receipting of inventory as it is received from dealerships, and or, outside vendors. Warehouse associates are the backbone of our product supply chain, ensuring that goods make their way to their final destinations. We are looking for strong, energetic, detail-focused Parts Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate who will help us ensure the parts-buying experience is exceptional!

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, bend and carry parts and accessories that weigh upwards of 75 pounds
  • Must be able to follow instructions while working safely and efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dealership experience is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Receipt and stock in all parts orders
  • Inspect shipments and receipt for quantity and damage if applicable
  • Maintain physical inventory by keeping stock in correct locations, sealable condition and free of safety hazards
  • Maintain all parts shelves are stocked using the space available in an efficient manner
  • Maintain warranty claims in accordance with dealership guidelines
  • Notify the parts manager of any parts that are received damaged or missing
  • Maintain a special-order file and ensures that all customers are notified of the receipt of their parts.
  • Notify the appropriate service manager when the special order parts that were ordered have been received
