Requirements

5+ years of experience in the mechanical piping and structural industry.
Grade 12 High School Diploma.
7+ years of applicable experience.
Must have a valid class 5 Driver’s License, with a clean driving record.
5-year clean abstract must be provided & employment is conditional on an approved abstract.
Candidate must be 25yrs or older due to insurance purposes.
Must have experience in hauling & loading trailers.
CSTS 2020 & WHMIS required.
Must be capable of physical labour.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Basic computer efficiency skills required with experience in Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.

Nice To Haves

Forklift & Zoom Boom certification and experience is an asset.
D&A testing could be mandatory.

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Driving trucks from ½ ton to 5 ton including gooseneck trailers.
Physically receiving materials.
Inspecting & verifying incoming goods against invoices inspecting for shortages/damages.
Labelling, wrapping, packing, unpacking, sorting, and stacking goods of various types & sizes.
Assisting with maintaining organization of inventory.
Assisting with the maintenance of inventory control daily & annually.
Transporting materials such as pipe, equipment, sea cans, large & small boxes, etc.
Ability to assist with data entry for maintaining internal record keeping.
Tracking orders, materials, and ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ to ensure timely and accurate deliveries are executed.
Assisting in obtaining vendor estimates, confirmation of orders and various other vendor related activity.
Assisting with preparation of purchase orders.
Maintaining vendor relations and ONEX River representation while on vendor deliveries.
Other shop duties as required.
