About The Position

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of inventory and finished goods in manufacturing and warehouse areas according to established guidelines. Verify and maintain records of outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
  • May require skills in the area of powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
