Job Summary: The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for executing shipping and receiving activities to support production and customer commitments. This role ensures accurate processing, documentation, and material handling in accordance with established procedures and compliance requirement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving or related experience
- Experience working in ERP/MRP systems
- Basic understanding of shipping documentation and compliance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with import/export regulations
- Epicor ERP experience
- DOT Hazardous Materials Certification
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive all goods through ERP and carrier systems
- Maintain organized work areas and proper material storage
- Receive and distribute materials in accordance with GMP and company procedures
- Support inventory accuracy and discrepancy resolution through routine cycle counts and accurate material handling
- Communicate shipment and receipt status to internal teams
- Follow established GMP and standard work requirements; ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained
- Notify and escalate high-volume or resource constraints to supervisor or site lead
- Complete required DOT HazMat training and follow established procedures; escalate issues or uncertainties
- Other duties as assigned
