Requirements
- High School graduate with one to two years experience in a team-based environment.
- Experience and skills in Shipping, Receiving, or General Warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates team’s work efforts, communicate performance expectations and results as well as enforce established company and departmental work & safety rules.
- Plans and coordinates team’s activites with other Warehouse shifts, Production and Procurement groups.
- Provides training, direction, and work performance evaluation of hourly warehouse personnel.
- Identifies and resolves problems/issues to ensure team meets performance objectives.
- Performs weekly inventories of supplies.
- Compiles and records OSD authorization information.
- Monitor all inbound and outbound delivery schedules and dock freight.
- Maintains and records daily Shipping and Receiving performance figures.
- Maintains customer return product in the inventory system.
- Participates in the drafting of WIS for specific areas of responsibilities within the warehouse operation.
- Performs training in compliance with cGMP & GWP (good warehouse practices)
- Promotes inventory accuracy through coaching and training.
- Evaluate powered industrial truck daily checklists for accuracy.
- Updates warehouse inventory daily.
- Scrap ticket processing as needed.
- Provides backup supervisory support, as required.
