Shift Supervisor
About The Position
A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures operations run smoothly, and completes opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising and coordinating store crew activities, communicating with management and staff, resolving customer questions and concerns, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and executing merchandise presentation and inventory tasks. The position is part-time, with 29 anticipated weekly hours.
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
- Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
- Price merchandise and stock shelves.
- Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
- Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
- Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
- Lead store staff when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
- Ensure store operations run smoothly and complete opening and closing procedures.
