About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance and building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising store crew activities, communicating with management and staff, assisting customers and handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and maintaining customer and patient confidentiality. The Shift Supervisor also prices and stocks merchandise, executes displays and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise, maintains off-shelf merchandise, and resets departments according to planograms.

This is a part-time position with anticipated hours of 20 per week. The role requires a flexible schedule that may include early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and responding to urgent store issues. The stated pay range is $16.50–$24.00 per hour. The opening’s anticipated application-window close date is 12/28/2026.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute displays and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and support smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
