About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to help make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. You will direct and coordinate the work of other employees, prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and help meet store operating policies and standards. Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available for flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations.
At least six months of experience in a role involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service and help create a warm, welcoming coffeehouse environment.
