About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for responding empathetically to guest needs, driving innovation on the floor, and fostering collaboration among team members. The role requires knowledge of Main Event’s operations and flexibility to assist across departments as needed. The supervisor helps maintain a clean, well-presented center, supports a high-performance culture, contributes ideas to improve processes, and represents Main Event professionally.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Desire to pursue a management career with Main Event.
• Solution-oriented and able to problem-solve in an ever-changing environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
• At least 18 months with Main Event or 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to create an amazing guest experience.
• Valid Alcohol Seller/Server and Food Handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the center’s appearance according to established facility cleanliness standards.
• Hold themselves and others accountable for creating a culture of high performance.
• Expand job responsibilities and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
• Attend weekly manager meetings.
• Communicate clearly and effectively through verbal and written communication.
• Respond empathetically to guest needs, maintain guest focus, and drive improvement and innovation.
• Recognize Main Event’s core competencies and make decisions that protect the brand.
• Represent Main Event professionally when conducting business.
• Pitch in across departments wherever needed.
