About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed. The role includes supervising and coordinating crew activities; communicating information between store management and crew; assisting customers and resolving customer-relations issues in accordance with company policy; maintaining customer and patient confidentiality; and supporting merchandise pricing, stocking, promotional and seasonal displays, inventory, off-shelf merchandise, and department resets according to planograms. This is a full-time position with anticipated hours of 40 per week. The stated typical pay range is $16.00–$23.00. The actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Requirements

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Handle customer-relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise and stock shelves.
Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite.
Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
