About The Position

The Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role supervises store crew activities, communicates with management and crew, assists customers, handles customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and maintains customer and patient confidentiality. It also includes pricing and stocking merchandise, executing promotional and seasonal displays and inventory, maintaining off-shelf merchandise, and resetting departments according to planograms.

This is a part-time position with anticipated hours of 20 per week. The schedule may include early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime, and the supervisor must respond to urgent store issues when they arise.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures.
