Shift Supervisor
About The Position
The Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance and builds customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and completes opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising crew activities, communicating with store management and crew, resolving customer issues while maintaining confidentiality, and completing merchandising tasks such as pricing, stocking, promotional displays, inventory, and department resets.
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
- Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
- Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
- Price merchandise and stock shelves.
- Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
- Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
- Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
- Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
