About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Shift Supervisor at The Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Center in Lecanto, FL. Cypress Creek is a max security residential program for at-risk male youth. Through our trained programming for staff, we promote a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Requirements

Possess a Bachelors Degree Or any Equivalent combination numbers of years experience, education and/or training that demonstrates ability to perform duties of position.
Consistent, fair, punctual, motivated, and structure-oriented.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily management and supervisory control under Group Living operations.
Provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development.
Ensure ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements.
Collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
Ensure safety and security of staff and students and proper supervision is maintained.
