Requirements
- 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
- Previous fast paced coffee experience preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Drive-Thru experience is preferred
- Guest service focused, solution oriented
- Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
- Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in a in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work a mixture of open, closes and mid-shifts as dictated by the business needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
- Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
- Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
- Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal period and shifts
- Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks
- Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty
- Lead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammates
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
- Responsible for balancing and managing deposits
- Active in inventory and waste management
- Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures
- Perform all other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadership
