About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in executing store operations and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.

The role involves supervising and coordinating store crew activities, communicating between management and crew, helping customers, resolving customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and maintaining customer and patient confidentiality. It also includes pricing and stocking merchandise, executing promotional and seasonal displays and inventory, maintaining off-shelf merchandise, and resetting departments according to planograms.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms.
• Lead store staff and ensure operations run smoothly when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
