About The Position

The Shift Supervisor at Rock Spot Climbing is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests. While overseeing the day to day operations of the gym as the supervisor on duty they will handle all sales, coordinate floor staff and promote relevant products and events. All activities shall be conducted under the direction of the local management team. Our team members are dynamic individuals who are on board with our Mission and Core Values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous indoor rock climbing and belaying experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Punctual and reliable
• Customer service experience
• Retail/sales experience
• Able to perform all floor staff functions
• Basic computer skills
• Outgoing, friendly personality

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class customer service, making customers of all experience levels feel welcome in person and over the phone, while promoting relevant gym products and services.
• Achieve and exceed local sales goals by matching guests with suitable products.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive atmosphere while supervising floor staff.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility and equipment, including registers, retail stock, and the gym floor during opening or closing.
• Engage with members and guests to understand their needs and connect them with relevant products and services.
• Accurately and precisely perform all transactions and tasks using multiple computer platforms.
• Ensure in-gym signage and social media are up-to-date and effective.
