The Shift Supervisor provides 24-hour security coverage to the facility to prevent theft and ensure the safety of both the facility staff and residents. This role oversees facility operations, including emergencies, and supervises and trains Residential Aides. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for coordinating schedules, participating in team meetings, providing feedback to staff, registering new clients, conducting locker searches, delegating tasks, verifying meal delivery receipts, and communicating client behavior changes to case managers and the Program Director. They also review logs, manage inventory of various items, ensure pack-ups are completed correctly, respond to client emergencies, and maintain access control, surveillance, and documentation in compliance with regulations. Additionally, they distribute client supplies and meals, and participate in training and staff development activities.
