About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising store crew activities, communicating with management and staff, assisting customers and handling customer-relations issues in accordance with company policy, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and executing merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, signage, inventory, and department resets.

This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 25. The schedule is flexible and may include early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and responding to urgent store issues. The typical pay range is $17.00–$26.00.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer-relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
