About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and ensures completion of all opening and closing procedures.

This part-time position is scheduled for 27 anticipated weekly hours. The role requires a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and responsiveness to urgent store issues. The stated pay range is $20.02 per hour. The position is eligible for benefits and programs that support colleagues’ physical, emotional, and financial well-being, depending on hours worked and eligibility.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations and completion of opening and closing procedures when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
