About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role involves supervising and communicating with the store crew, assisting customers and handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and completing merchandising tasks such as pricing and stocking merchandise, maintaining displays and signage, handling inventory for promotional and seasonal merchandise, and resetting departments according to planograms.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments following POGs.
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations and completion of opening and closing procedures when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
