About The Position

At Better Buzz Coffee Roasters, Shift Supervisors help create a memorable guest experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service. They work across café positions, prepare and serve beverages and food to recipe standards, and help lead shift operations as directed by the manager on duty. The role includes supporting schedules and breaks, maintaining cleanliness and safety, handling deposits, and contributing to inventory and waste management. The position requires availability for at least 28 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a mixture of opening, closing, and mid-shifts as business needs dictate.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality.
• Previous fast-paced coffee experience.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Drive-thru experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently according to recipe standards.
• Work across café positions, including preparing made-to-order food in the kitchen.
• Help administer shift schedules, breaks, and meal periods.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stocking, and special tasks.
• Lead shift duties as directed by the manager on duty.
• Lead store cleanliness and safety, keeping the café ready for guests and teammates.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and the team.
• Balance and manage deposits.
• Participate in inventory and waste management.
• Follow opening and closing duty checklists and procedures.
• Perform other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadership.
