About The Position

Andy Frain Services is hiring experienced, dependable, and professional security leaders for Site Supervisor and Shift Supervisor positions at a high-security logistics facility in Marengo, Ohio. Supervisors oversee approximately 5–6 security officers at facility access control points, lead by example, maintain client relationships, handle difficult situations professionally, and ensure security procedures are consistently enforced. Candidates will be evaluated for the position that best matches their qualifications and experience. Compensation is based on experience and supervisory position.

Requirements

Previous security experience is required.
Supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to supervise, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
Strong verbal de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to consistently enforce security policies, including when challenged.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong judgment, professionalism, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful or confrontational situations.
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic security reports.
Ability to pass applicable background screening and meet employment requirements.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and direct a team of 5–6 security officers.
Ensure assigned access points are properly staffed and security procedures are followed.
Enforce visitor access policies, including requiring at least 24 hours' advance notice and authorization before entry.
Professionally deny unauthorized access and de-escalate conflicts with employees, visitors, truck drivers, and contractors.
Address difficult situations calmly, respectfully, and firmly while protecting the client's security interests.
Conduct regular post inspections to ensure officers remain alert, professional, and compliant with assignments.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniform standards, and officer performance.
Ensure daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required security documentation are accurate and completed on time.
Promptly communicate security concerns, staffing issues, and incidents to management.
Train and mentor officers on access control procedures, emergency response, customer service, and professional conduct.
Maintain effective communication with client representatives and Andy Frain Services management.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, policy violations, and security incidents.
Hold officers accountable for performance expectations and company policies.
For Site Supervisor roles, provide overall leadership and operational oversight for assigned site security operations.
For Site Supervisor roles, maintain staffing coverage, coordinate scheduling, and provide supervisory accountability.
For Site Supervisor roles, support employee development, corrective action, and performance evaluations.
For Site Supervisor roles, serve as a primary contact for client security concerns.
For Site Supervisor roles, ensure post orders and operational expectations are consistently enforced across shifts.
