About The Position

Responsible for the successful oversight of our operations, warehousing and related functions within the organization. High visibility role will lead the manufacturing teams in meeting the demands of our various customer groups. Position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with key service providers. Staff development, positive employee engagement and safety practices along with optimal resource planning will be key factors in sustained success in role. 2nd Shift: 3:30PM- Midnight Monday - Friday

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
A minimum of 3 years of operations leadership experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Excellent managerial track record and experience with leading multi-functional industrial teams and achieving positive employee engagement and safety results.
Demonstrated track record in achieving success in process improvement projects and labor utilization plans.
Intermediate level systems utilization experience.
Physical requirements include regular walking and standing within industrial areas.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Actively supervise team members to fulfill weekly and monthly operations plan execution.
Ensure effective employee relations by providing employee mentoring and development and resolving employee issues through coaching and problem resolution.
Lead daily and weekly operations and safety meetings with hourly team members.
Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
Meet the daily and weekly production goals in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and team standards.
Participate in work efficiency projects and studies with Operations Excellence team.
Generate reports on productivity and resource utilization for senior management usage.
Monitor production schedules and results and inform management and peers regarding production delays and other related issues.
Develop and deliver onboarding and new hire training in accordance with industrial best practices.
Track absenteeism and maintain and approve timekeeping records.
Maintain policy application consistency within assigned work teams.
Lead activities needed to perform accident investigations, safety observations, and hazard mapping. Maintain best-in-class Safety practices within business group with an objective of zero injuries on a consistent basis.
Partner with Human Resources to create and maintain a healthy team culture and appropriate organizational design to achieve a highly engaged and successful workforce.
Manage relationships with key service provider and transportation partners.
