About The Position

RJK LLC is hiring a Shift Supervisor for its dispensary. The Company has partnered with Jushi as the management services provider for day-to-day operations. While Jushi supports management and operations, RJK LLC is solely responsible for employment and compensation decisions. Ownership of the dispensary is expected to transfer in the first half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals. The Shift Supervisor will partner with the Dispensary Manager to lead the team, demonstrating exceptional service, dedication, pace, and energy. Key responsibilities include receiving deliveries, inputting inventory data, restocking products following FIFO order, and mentoring, motivating, and inspiring the team with a positive attitude. This role also involves sales and customer service, maintaining product knowledge, managing inventory levels, assisting patients with product selection, receiving and verifying deliveries, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations. The Shift Supervisor will also be responsible for cash handling, verification of paperwork, security measures, store maintenance, communication, reporting issues, sending daily updates, and performing opening and closing duties.

Requirements

High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Minimum of 2 years combined dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
Must be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals, and high-volume cash handling.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
Complete any needed assistance including oversight and coverage outside of the assigned region as required.

Nice To Haves

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred.
Experience or study emphasis in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, or hospitality.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Dispensary Manager to lead the team.
Lead by example by being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace, and energy.
Receive deliveries, input inventory data, and restock product on the floor.
Ensure all product remains in FIFO order.
Mentor, motivate, elevate, and inspire the team by keeping a positive and can-do attitude.
Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains and strive to train and share that knowledge with the team.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Store Manager.
Assist Patient Care Specialists in the consultation of patients.
Receive new deliveries in the Inventory Room and ensure all manifests are accurate and compliant to map deliveries in MJ Freeway.
Report any delivery discrepancies immediately to G/P & Inventory Manager.
Complete and appropriately delegate tasks assigned during a scheduled shift, including cash handling, discount application, verification of paperwork and IDs, security measures, safety compliance, and store organization/cleanliness.
Support open communication with the management team and coworkers.
Report team member issues or patient situations.
Send end-of-day daily update emails.
Perform opening and closing duties.
Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Lead in the onboarding and training of new Patient Care Specialists in partnership with the Store Manager.
Complete all MOD cash and inventory functions for closing procedures.
Follow all Safety & Security procedures for opening and closing.
