As a Shift Supervisor, you will report to the Production Manager and take full ownership of shift-level performance across five key pillars: Safety, Quality, OEE, Material Yield, and Member Engagement. You’ll lead from the front—working directly on the manufacturing floor, coaching team members, and driving results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree + 1–3 years of leadership in manufacturing (or 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership without a degree—plastics preferred)
  • Experience leading CI programs and working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); Apple experience a plus
  • Excellent communication—proactive, clear, and action-oriented
  • Strong coaching mindset and ability to motivate technical teams
  • Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot blow/injection molding and downstream equipment.
  • Lead RedZone performance metrics and technician accountability.
  • Prioritize staffing and material staging to optimize safety and efficiency.
  • Identify and escalate maintenance needs via work order systems.
  • Lead by example to create a safe, efficient, and engaged production floor.
  • Manage staffing, labor planning, and technical task assignments.
  • Hold team members accountable through real-time coaching and performance management.
  • Drive participation in continuous improvement, safety programs, and 6S initiatives.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and compliance with Food Safety and GMP standards.
  • Monitor performance data to improve uptime, reduce scrap, and drive quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Human Development teams.
  • Address and act on shift-level challenges and improvement opportunities in real-time.
