About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Shift Supervisor at The Morrison Home in Morrison, CO. At Morrison Home, we foster a home-like environment. We are tucked in the foothills of Morrison down the street from the popular Tiny Town attraction and a popular mom-and-pop coffee house, Tomaris. Our home includes a large expanse of land for the boys to play in with a deck view of a small running creek in the backyard and a variety of trees and wildflowers growing in the summer and spring. The students reside at the home and have their own personalized rooms. Adjacent to the house is the schoolhouse where their scholastic needs are met, and therapy sessions take place with our on-site Special Education teachers and clinical therapists. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services OR any equivalent combination numbers of years’ experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Military experience and training is acceptable.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Dentition, Corrections, etc.)
  • One (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Must meet all individual state specific licensing requirements in addition to ROP requirements regarding education and experience.

  • Related and/or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living and/or Program Director.
  • Ensures ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements.
  • Must have full and direct supervision of a minimum of two full-time employees.
