About The Position

The Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, this role leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed. The position includes supervising store activities, assisting customers, protecting customer and patient confidentiality, and maintaining merchandise presentation and displays.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and help ensure smooth operations when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
