Shift Supervisor - Security
About The Position
This role involves supervising and managing the daily activities of security staff for their respective shift. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for maintaining performance, personnel, and operational records, and overseeing the physical security of the casino and company assets. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the physical safety of guests, employees, and property, and recommending improvement measures. The position also includes conducting investigations of incidents and assisting the Gaming Board in investigations as needed. The Shift Supervisor must ensure all applicable personnel adhere to the Adopted Rules, MIC’s, IC’s, and company policy & procedures, and is responsible for training, developing, and scheduling security staff. Disseminating pertinent information to security staff and ensuring the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures are also crucial. Knowledge of all promotions and events is required, along with performing any other duties as assigned.
