About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing assigned manufacturing personnel during their designated shift to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production operations. This role oversees daily workflow execution, enforces company policies and safety standards, monitors performance metrics, and ensures production targets are achieved while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.

Requirements

Knowledge of offset & digital printing processes and equipment
At least 3 years' experience in a leadership/supervisory/production scheduling position, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment to support safe and efficient production operations.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
Ability to walk and move throughout the production area for approximately 50% of the workday.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience using Management Information Systems and other production management software.
Lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement exposure (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
Preferred knowledge in safety procedures, OSHA regulations, etc.
Printing/Packaging Industry certification

Responsibilities

Lead team huddles daily before shift starts.
Review and manage attendance daily along with shift schedules, PTO calendar, etc.
Manage inter-facility tasks and/or concerns and process resolutions when required.
Produce job tickets and process specifications for completion.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational and business needs.
