About The Position

The Shift Manager works directly with customers and supervises Front of House (FOH) employees under the direction of the General Manager, to lead staff in providing exceptional hospitality to customers. The Shift Manager also works directly with Back of House (BOH) management and staff to ensure efficient and accurate service is provided to all customers. Food Fight Restaurant Group is an ambitious collection of professionals who are constantly focused on the growth and improvement of our teams. Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience is required.
  • Good Communication and good leadership skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of principles of providing outstanding hospitality to customers.
  • Ability to lead by example.

  • Previous restaurant leadership experience is desired, but will train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises FOH employees under the direction of the General Manager.
  • Leads staff in providing exceptional hospitality to customers.
  • Works directly with BOH management and staff to ensure efficient and accurate service is provided to all customers.
  • Participating in tip pooling means the Shift Manager is not allowed to perform any functions related to employee hiring, promoting, disciplining, or firing.
  • Participating in tip pooling means the Shift Manager is not allowed to perform any functions related to the scheduling of staff, including writing or altering schedules.
  • Participating in tip pooling means the Shift Manager is not allowed to perform any functions related to the distribution of tip pools, including daily book work.
