This role involves embedding a 'Customer First' culture, communicating business strategy, developing talent for succession planning, and serving as a liaison between shift managers and department managers. The position ensures commitment to and execution of training plans, establishes communication channels for process changes, and standardizes operations across shifts using standard operating procedures. The Team Lead advocates for the operations team's needs regarding documentation and training, coordinates new hire training, and supports problem-solving techniques. They also assist in data collection for continuous improvement, manage resources for operational coverage, identify knowledge and skill gaps, and maintain positive employee relations. Responsibilities include auditing safety systems, production processes, employee productivity, and demonstrating accountability for the entire site during shifts.
