About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team. The Shift Leader plays a crucial role, similar to cream cheese on a bagel, helping to hold the team together and add flavor. Shift Leaders collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team, deliver a great guest experience, and set the morale and tone. They are empowered to take charge, provide feedback, coach team members, and open and close the store with minimal supervision. The team takes pride in ensuring food and beverage quality and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

• Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
• Ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve.
• Keeping a safe and clean store environment.
