About The Position

Gelati Celesti Ice Cream is seeking a talented Shift Leader to join their Swift Creek team. This is a year-round position focused on leading store operations, product quality, team leadership, and customer service. The Shift Leader will set a positive tone, motivate the team, manage inventory, enforce safety regulations, and ensure a positive customer experience. The role requires a natural ability to connect with people and guide the team to deliver moments of joy to customers.

Requirements

1 year of management or leadership experience in a retail environment preferred
Year-round availability required - this is not a seasonal position
Must have opening AND closing availability, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Reliable transportation
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with constant moving, bending, lifting, reaching, and turning during all shifts
Ability to reach and grasp with hands; talk and hear from far away and in close proximity; taste and smell
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds or more

Responsibilities

Leading, motivating, and supporting your team during each shift
Modeling and communicating our culture: setting a positive tone, giving in-the-moment feedback, and keeping the team informed and engaged
Ordering product and maintaining accurate inventory
Enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean, organized work area
Maintaining an effective and positive environment while staying current on changes, new menu items, and procedures
Delivering supreme customer service and resolving customer concerns with care
