About The Position

Cheba Hut is seeking a Shift Leader to lead their team, motivate crew members, and ensure legendary guest experiences. This role involves overseeing operations, maintaining food quality and safety standards, managing guest interactions, and contributing to financial accountability. The Shift Leader is expected to embody Cheba Hut's culture of servant leadership, positive energy, and team development.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, or leadership experience
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Lead and motivate Homies through servant leadership
  • Coach, train, and develop team members

  • Open, run, and close shifts successfully

  • Complete daily checklists, line checks, and shift responsibilities
  • Maintain proper staffing and deployment throughout the shift
  • Monitor prep levels and communicate product needs
  • Support inventory, receiving deliveries, and food rotation
  • Ensure all guests receive fast, friendly service
  • Create memorable interactions with every customer
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally
  • Support catering, events, and community outreach opportunities
  • Help maintain the unique culture and atmosphere that makes Cheba Hut special
  • Help control labor and food costs
  • Minimize waste through proper prep and portioning
