This role is for a Shift Leader in the Battery Plant, specifically for the 3rd Shift.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (electrical preferred).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication ability (written & verbal).
Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results.
Continuous improvement approach.
Ability to prioritize and make decisions.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to defined production standards, methods, and guidelines.
Oversee and manage all shift operations to achieve agreed KPIs.
Ensure proper application of methods, guidelines, and procedures to achieve KPIs.
Contribute to or ensure fine-scheduling and sequencing of production orders.
Confirm or approve production orders and allocate own operations resources accordingly.
Ensure availability of production infrastructure (i.e., availability of tools, maintenance services, set up operations, etc.).
Propose procedural or organizational changes to contribute to improvements in QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery).
Direct personnel actions, including selection, training, performance appraisal, and safety procedures.
Direct routine equipment set-up and maintenance and check for accomplishment.
