About The Position

As a Shift Leader at Boom's Pizza, you are an integral part of the operational success of our restaurant during your assigned shifts. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, maintain food quality standards, and uphold cleanliness protocols. Your role involves overseeing various tasks from opening to closing, ensuring a smooth operational service, and handling guest interactions effectively.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
• Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate various shift times, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening procedures including cash drawer preparation, line checks, and prep work.
• Greet guests warmly, handle complaints and inquiries professionally, and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Maintain open communication with team members and management.
• Assist with placing orders, monitor inventory levels, and maintain pars for prep items.
• Conduct closing procedures, reconcile cash drawers, and complete end-of-day financial tasks.
• Secure the facility and equipment before leaving.
• Email a shift overview to GM/AGM and supervisor.
• Function as a team member throughout service, working a station in either front of house or back of house.
