About The Position

The Shift Leader assists the Store Manager with daily store operations, associate training, and providing exceptional customer service. The role contributes to business KPI achievement and store standards while supporting cashiering, opening and closing, merchandising, customer engagement, cash management, store upkeep, and shipment processing. The Shift Leader also promotes the store’s membership program to encourage customer loyalty and helps foster a positive, energetic environment for the team and customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience as a keyholder, supervisor, or shift leader.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of retail operations and POS systems.
Ability to travel between store locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred.
Retail industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead by example to drive sales, meet store KPI goals, and exceed customer expectations.
Assist the Store Manager in training and developing sales associates to strengthen product knowledge and customer engagement on the sales floor and at the register.
Support daily operations, including replenishment, fronting, store maintenance, cash handling, and merchandising.
Maintain store appearance, ensure proper stock levels, and implement visual merchandising updates.
Open and close the store, ensuring it is recovered, clean, and compliant with safety and operational procedures.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the Store Manager when necessary.
Support Loss Prevention efforts and follow company policies designed to prevent loss.
Maintain a professional attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm and sincerity aligned with MINISO USA’s customer commitment.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
Participate in store promotions and sales events to support business objectives.
Promote the store’s membership program to foster customer loyalty.
Travel between store locations as needed.
