About The Position

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team. Shift Leaders collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team, deliver a great guest experience, and set the tone for the team. They are empowered to take charge, provide feedback, coach team members, and open and close the store with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes ensuring food and beverage quality and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This position offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Take charge and set the morale and tone of the team.
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed.
• Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served.
• Keep a safe and clean store environment.
