About The Position

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking experienced restaurant shift leaders who are motivated, work hard, and lead by example. The ideal candidate brings a positive outlook to the workplace and understands its effect on the restaurant. Hourly managers and shift leaders serve as role models for coworkers in professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude. Opportunities for continued growth are available as the company grows. The position generally involves at least 30 and up to 50 hours per week, including night and weekend shifts. Pay is $16–$18 per hour and depends on availability during peak periods, experience, and the needs of the specific restaurant.

Requirements

Experienced restaurant shift leader.
Friendly and customer-oriented.
Able to lift 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods on your feet.
Good attitude, open mind, and a customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Open or close the restaurant by completing prescribed tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction during the shift.
Be competent in all working positions in the restaurant.
Lead by example and work hard.
Ensure delivery of high-quality food and guest/customer experiences that exceed expectations.
Demonstrate and enforce operating policies and procedures, and be responsible for store safety results.
Execute, enforce, and manage food safety and sanitation requirements; identify and eliminate potential food safety violations and unsafe practices or conditions.
